Tri Fold Pocket Card

Hi Everyone!

What a beautiful day today!  It was sunny and 70 outside.  A little teaser for what is to come.  Ah, I so can’t wait until Summer! 

For my card today, I got the idea of the Tri Fold card from Dawn Griffith.  The card base is a 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 piece of Marina Mist, edges sponged with Marina Mist.

The pattern paper is a 4 by 12 inch piece that is scored at both end at 4 inches.  I sponged the edges with Marina Mist ink.  The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with Spellbinders labels #4.  I left the die on and sponged the inside of the Very Vanilla cardstock with Marina Mist and added three pearls from Close To My Heart.  The stamp set is called Occasional Quotes from SU!  I popped up the sentiment on dimensional and layered it onto a piece of Early Espresso.

For the inside of the card I used a piece of 3 1/4 by 3 1/2 of Early Espresso and attached a 3 by 3 1/4 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock sponged with Marina Mist.  I stamped a greeting from Thanks for Caring from SU! and punched it out with an oval punch and then attached it to a scalloped oval piece of Early Espresso then attached it to the base of the card.
