MoJo Monday

Hello Everyone!

Today, I am posting a very special card that was created by my BFF Carol. :) Every time I look at this card, I find something new and interesting to look at.  To me, it has the wow factor!

She used Spellbinders for the sentiment along with some bling around the scallop boarder.  Underneath the ribbon is a strip of black cardstock that was boarder punched with a Martha Steward punch.  The pattern paper came from DCVW.  Here is another look:

CTMH Memory Keeper Box

Hello Everyone,

For today’s post I finished my memory keeper box by CTMH.  I titled this one Dreams and I plan to store my favorite cards and mementos in it.

I used the new paper pack Felicity to cover the box. I used CTMH chipboard lettering and colored it with Desert Sand Ink.  I took one of the images from the stamp set included with the kit and inked it up with Barn Red and stamped over the letters to add a little design to the letters.

I used the new flowers and filigree charms to the flowers.  I also used Crème Brulee ribbon and the Buttoney Bow technique to add a bow to the box.

Well, gotta run.  Thanks for stopping by.

Mini Treat Box

Hello Everyone,

Today, I created a cute, really fast, mini-treat box that I cased off of Chin-n-scratch on You Tube.  Check out her video to see her make this cute little box.

I used SU Thoroughly Modern paper, a sentiment stamp from CTMH’s January SOTM and some paper flowers and a brad.  Its really easy and would be cute for the kids to give out for Valentine’s day.

CAS50

Hello Everyone,

Today I thought I would hop on over to SplitCoastStampers and check out some of the challenges.  I chose the Clean And Simple challenge with the color Teal.

I used SU Bermuda Bay for my matt and CTMH Ocean with one of Verve’s stamps on a piece of whisper white cardstock. I used Bermuda Bay ribbon with one of SU designer buttons and some twill.

Ok, well gotta go.  Thanks for stopping by!

Memory Keeper

Hello Everyone,

It has been some time since I have posted for several reasons.  One was I felt compelled to reorganize my scrap room, the second was I was waiting on some craft items I have ordered and the third was I sort of lost my MoJo.

Today, I have a cute little memory keeper that I created from the tutorial over at Gina K designs.  I found some left over cardstock and fun pattern paper and a cute stamp from CTMH.  The great thing about this project is that it doesn’t take a lot of time, nor does it take a lot of paper. You can view the tutorial here.

Here is my memory keeper box:

I used some spring color pattern paper from SU (I think its called Thoroughly Modern.  Can you tell I am wishing for spring? LOL)

DSCF3404(I have little note cards that I store inside)

Talk with you later,

Ruffle Ribbon

1. Cut a length of ribbon considerably longer than the area you want to cover.
2. Run a line of adhesive.
3. Start at one end and press the end of the ribbon into the adhesive, then lift it up and fold before pressing down another section of ribbon into the adhesive. Keep ruffling the ribbon until you’ve reached the desired length, then snip it off.
4. Be sure that both ends of the ribbon are well-adhered.

Love this card?  Check out the new Felicity Collection from CTMH.  It includes beautiful pattern paper and an exclusive stamp set.
