Follow Your Bliss

I have been in such a funk lately and not at all creative.  Then I saw my journal I created called "Follow Your Bliss".

I had come to a crossroads with my scrapbooking and crafting.  I had always been vintage, romantic etc and in the beginning, when I first started, I was looking for a community that would reflect my style and help me grow.

I found a direct selling company that welcomed Hobbyists and offered new techniques and layouts to help teach those who were new to the art.  I liked their style and joined but have now since found that I was having a difficult time following their structure.  I really wanted to get back into creating layouts that I loved. So I have made the decision to part ways.  What was sad, I felt like an outsider.

So I looked back on my journal and thought that my crafting was never about selling, just about doing something that I loved; to be creative; and share with others.  When it stopped being fun, I needed to take a step back a figure out how to get back on track.  So hopefully this funk has ended and I can get on with being creative.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the journal:

Thanks for stopping by,

Michelle

  1. Sometimes this hobby we love can be overwhelming and we have to step back and remember why we started.
