My Journal

Hello Everyone,

Close To My Heart, in their new spring catalog, has this really cute My Journal.  It is a spiral journal that has white pages inside and a sleeve on the outside that allows you to change the cover’s artwork.

I used the stamp set Cherished Flourished to stamp my corners.  I used some bling on the flourishes.  The flowers were created with the stamp set that comes in one of the WOTG kits Veranda.

For my sentiment I took one of the frames dimensional elements and colored with with Chocolate marker, let it dry and colored it again.  I then stamped it with Versa Mark ink and clear embossed it to make it shinny.

I love the way this turned out.  It is so me.  Now I can’t wait to start filling my journal.  I have started to let go of rules on traditional scrapbooking and now look for all kinds of things to scrap.  As I create my pages, I will take pictures to show.
